Welcome
Pictures of the handover ceremony are available here.
On Saturday October 7th, the London Pride Run came to its official end. London FrontRunners awarded a cheque of £2,300 to NRG
Lesbian Gay and Bisexual Youth Service, the youth LGBT group of THT. This money was collected at the annual race which took place in Victoria Park earlier this summer, and will be used to finance activities run by NRG. Says Niv Ben-Yehuda, chair of this year's event: "We had the best ever race and the high number of participants, together with the input from our generous sponsors, allowed us to make this generous donation, up from £1,500 last year".
Stuart Williams, one of the NRG group leaders expressed his appreciation for
this contribution and said that the money will be used to promote well
being, self esteem and sexual health within LGBT youth in London.
The London Pride Run has become one of the major gay & lesbian sports events, drawing runners from different abilities, gay and straight alike, who enjoyed running in this race. It is supported by the Mayor
of London, and indeed the whole of London's community
and beyond.
